Article 9 of Decree 69/2026/ND-CP (effective from April 20, 2026) amends, supplements, and abolishes a number of clauses of Article 21 of Decree No. 106/2025/ND-CP stipulating penalties for administrative violations in the field of fire prevention, fighting and rescue as follows:
1. Amending and supplementing Clause 2
“2. A fine of between 3 million VND and 5 million VND shall be imposed for one of the following acts:
a) Not maintaining sufficient quantity or not ensuring technical requirements according to regulations of common fire fighting vehicles, rudimentary demolition tools that have been equipped and installed;
b) Not maintaining fire-fighting water reserves as prescribed.
Thus, from April 2026, the act of not maintaining enough common fire fighting vehicles as prescribed may be fined up to 5 million VND.
