Clause 1, Article 3 of Decree 188/2026/ND-CP (effective from July 15, 2026) stipulates policies for boarding general education schools and boarding general education schools in land border communes, stipulating the level of policy benefits for students as follows:
a) Each boarding school student at noon is supported with lunch money of 450,000 VND per month and receives no more than 9 months/school year;
b) Each boarding student is supported with food money of 1.17 million VND per month and is entitled to no more than 9 months/school year.
Thus, from July 15, 2026, each boarding student in land border communes will be supported with food money of 1.17 million VND/month and will receive no more than 9 months/school year.
