Article 6 of Decree 156/2026/ND-CP (effective from July 1, 2026) amends and supplements Article 22 of Decree No. 31/2019/ND-CP on disciplinary action against people who resolve denunciations, people who verify denunciation content, and people who receive denunciations as follows:

4. The form of discipline of forced dismissal or dismissal applies to the person who resolves the denunciation, the person who verifies the content of the denunciation, and the person who receives the denunciation when there is one of the following acts:

a) Having been disciplined by dismissal for civil servants holding leadership and management positions or warning for civil servants who do not hold leadership and management positions but re-offend;

b) Deliberately failing to resolve or intentionally resolving illegal denunciations causing instability, security, and social order;

c) Deliberately ignoring evidence, omitting information and documents or losing or falsifying dossiers and documents of denunciations in the process of resolving denunciations, leading to incorrect determination of violations, the extent of violations of the accused in the direction of mitigating or removing responsibility; covering up for the accused causing instability, security, and social order;

d) Not applying protection measures to the complainant under their authority, causing the complainant to be retaliated against, persecuted, leading to injury or harm to health with a body injury rate of 61% or more or death.

Thus, from July 1, 2026, the person who resolves the complaint may be disciplined with dismissal in the above cases.
