What rights does the social insurance agency have with unemployment insurance?

Article 35 of Decree 374/2025/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the employment law on unemployment insurance (effective from January 1, 2026) stipulates the rights of the social insurance agency as follows:

1. Inspect the payment of unemployment insurance for employees and employers.

2. Refusing requests to pay unemployment insurance benefits not in accordance with the law.

3. Stop paying unemployment insurance benefits for cases where there are grounds to determine that unemployment insurance benefits are not in accordance with regulations.

4. Proposing to competent authorities to develop, amend, and supplement regimes, policies, and laws on unemployment insurance; managing and using the Unemployment Insurance Fund; handling violations of the law on unemployment insurance or proposing to competent state agencies to handle violations of the law on unemployment insurance according to the provisions of law.

5. Other rights as prescribed by law.

Thus, from January 1, 2026, the social insurance agency has the above rights in the field of unemployment insurance.
