Employment support policy for young workers from January 2026

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:
Article 12 of the 2025 Law on Employment (effective from January 1, 2026) stipulates the policy of supporting employment for young workers as follows:
1. Receive vocational training support according to Government regulations in the following cases:
a) Youth who have completed their military service and their duty to join the People's Public Security;
b) Youth volunteers completing the task of implementing socio-economic development programs and projects;
c) Young volunteer intellectuals after completing their tasks in the economic - defense zone.
2. To borrow capital to support job creation, maintenance, job expansion and borrow capital to support work abroad under contracts as prescribed in this Law.
3. Support for starting a business and starting a business according to the provisions of law
Thus, from January 1, 2026, young workers will enjoy the above-mentioned work support policy.
