Based on the request to freeze the account of the inspected subject from August 2025

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 58 of Decree No. 216/2025/ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law on Inspection (effective from August 5, 2025) stipulates the basis for requesting account freezing as follows:

1. The inspected subjects showed signs of spreading assets, including:

a) Carry out or prepare to make money transfers through other accounts without clear information about the purpose, content, and recipient;

b) Having signs of transferring ownership rights, land use rights, donation rights, mortgages, mortgages, destruction, changes in the status of assets;

c) Diefctoring records and accounting books leading to changes in assets.

2. The inspected subject did not meet the time to hand over the money and assets according to the decision to recover the money and assets of the inspected agency or the competent state management agency.

Thus, from August 5, 2025, the request to freeze the account of the inspected subject is based on the signs as prescribed above.
