Violations of officials and civil servants who do not apply the statute of limitations for disciplinary action
Reader nguyenhaixxx@gmail.com asked: Violations of officials and civil servants who do not apply the statute of limitations for disciplinary action?
The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:
Clause 2, Article 37 of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants 2025 stipulates that violations that do not apply the statute of limitations for disciplinary action are as follows:
a) Cadres and civil servants who are party members who have committed violations to the extent of being subject to disciplinary action by expelment;
b) Violating regulations on internal political protection work;
c) Performing acts that violate national interests in the fields of national defense, security, and foreign affairs;
d) Using fake or unlicensed degrees, certificates, certificates, and confirmations.
Thus, the above violations of cadres and civil servants do not apply the statute of limitations for disciplinary action.
