Online labor recruitment is 3 times greater than direct recruitment
HCMC - Of the total 29,907 enterprises participating in labor recruitment, there are 22,747 enterprises recruiting online (7.1%).
On January 4, information from the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center said that in 2025, there will be a clear shift in the form of labor recruitment.
According to statistics at this center, out of a total of 29,907 businesses participating in recruitment through the employment service system, only 7,160 businesses use the direct form (23.9%), while there are 22,747 businesses recruiting online (76.1%), more than three times the traditional direct recruitment form.
This trend shows that businesses are prioritizing digital platforms to shorten the time to search for candidates, expand access and optimize recruitment costs. The online form is especially effective for the group of office positions - information technology - finance - services; while direct recruitment is still necessary for jobs that require health check-ups, job interviews or on-site probation such as general work, operations techniques, logistics - warehouses.
According to Ms. Nguyen Van Hanh Thuc - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center - the dominance of online labor recruitment requires this center to continue upgrading the digital connection platform, standardizing electronic records, assessing online skills and enhancing smart recruitment tools to meet the strong digitalization trend of the market.
