Recruitment is 1.42 times higher than job search demand

Information from the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center on February 6th said that statistics of job seekers - job seekers of the center according to industry criteria in January 2026 show that recruitment demand continues to be greater than job search demand.

Accordingly, in January 2026, the recruitment demand is 24,831 job positions, 1.42 times higher than the job search demand of 17,483 people. Among these, unskilled labor and simple jobs continue to top both job search and recruitment demand.

Notably, in January 2026, for the first time in many consecutive months, the number of unskilled workers and people doing simple jobs looking for jobs was 8,164 people, larger than the recruitment demand (8,004 people).

Next is the job search demand in the fields of Marketing, communication, and advertising is 4,575 people, while the recruitment demand is only 341 people.

Surprisingly, the real estate - project development sector only has 1 job seeker, while the recruitment demand is up to 412 people.
