Unemployment benefits and the latest regulations on documents in Hanoi
The Hanoi Employment Service Center has just announced the application for unemployment benefits from January 1, 2026.
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, according to Decree No. 374/2025/ND-CP, the application for unemployment benefits includes:
- Application for unemployment benefits according to Form No. 10 issued with the Decree.
- Documents confirming the termination of labor contracts, employment contracts or termination of employment.
- Social Insurance book.
Within 3 months from the date of termination of the labor contract, the employee must submit a set of documents directly to the Employment Service Center or submit it via the National Public Service Portal.
In case the employee is having difficulty due to illness, maternity, accident, natural disaster, epidemic or other force majeure events, the dossier can be submitted through the authorized person or sent via postal service according to regulations.
