HCMC - The number of people registering to receive unemployment benefits in the first 11 months of 2025 decreased by 14.12% compared to the same period in 2024.
Information from the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center on December 7 said that in the 11 months of 2025, this center received 194,224 cases of application for unemployment benefits. Compared to the same period in 2024 (received 226,145 records), the number of 11 months of 2025 decreased by 14.12%.
The Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center has submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs to sign and issue 186,538 decisions to receive unemployment benefits for employees.
The Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center also coordinated with vocational training institutions to advise on vocational training support for workers receiving unemployment benefits and advised competent authorities to sign and issue 5,708 decisions on vocational training support for workers receiving unemployment benefits.
At the same time, update the training time of vocational training institutions into vocational training software so that unemployment insurance receiving points can advise workers.
