On December 8, Ms. Nguyen Van Hanh Thuc - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center - said that statistics on job search demand and job search according to the criteria of 27 industries and occupations in November 2025 at this center showed that the number of job seekers continues to be lower than the number of job seekers.
Accordingly, in November 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, there were 16,211 job seekers and 19,749 job seekers. Thus, for many consecutive months in Ho Chi Minh City, the recruitment demand has always been higher than the demand for job search.
In the group of job seekers, unskilled workers account for the highest rate with 2,494 people, accounting for 15.38% of total job search demand. Correspondingly, the demand for unskilled labor also accounts for the highest rate of 16.9% of the total demand for recruitment with 3,337 people.
Second in the group of 27 industries, footwear and garment is the industry with 2,045 job seekers (12.61% of job search demand) and 2,949 job seekers (14.93%).
Next is the food and beverage sector with 1,221 job seekers (7.53% of job search demand) and the recruitment demand is 1,789 (9.06%).
