Nghe An expands recruitment, calls workers from far away to return
Nghe An - In 2026, the province will organize 3 large-scale Job Fairs, meeting the recruitment needs of more than 30,000 workers.
On January 19, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that the province will organize a series of Job Fairs in 2026 to connect labor supply and demand, meeting the increasing human resource needs of businesses in the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks in the area, with the expected recruitment of more than 30,000 workers.
According to Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, this policy is agreed in Document No. 532/UBND-CN issued on January 14, 2026. Based on the review of actual needs, enterprises operating in the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks alone need to recruit about 32,000 workers in 2026.
To solve the problem of human resource shortage, Nghe An province plans to organize 3 large-scale Job Fairs in key areas. Phase 1 took place on February 28, 2026 at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, with the participation of 15'20 enterprises, recruiting more than 20,000 workers, focusing on the labor force in the wards and communes of Vinh City and the areas of Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky.
Round 2 was held in mid-April 2026 at WHA Nghe An Industrial Park, expected to attract 15'20 enterprises recruiting more than 10,000 workers, targeting workers in communes in Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh before.
Round 3 is expected to take place in June 2026 at Hoang Mai 1 Industrial Park, with the participation of 8'10 enterprises, recruiting over 3,000 workers, mainly in the wards and communes of Hoang Mai, Thai Hoa, Quynh Luu and Nghia Dan before.
In addition to direct forms, the People's Committee of Nghe An province directs the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with the Employment Service Center to organize online job fairs right at the event, creating conditions for businesses to interview and recruit workers who are from Nghe An working in other localities or abroad who want to return to their homeland to work.
The Southeast Economic Zone Management Board is assigned to preside over the development of scenarios, review recruitment needs and coordinate with media agencies to propagate on treatment regimes and working environment. The Department of Education and Training mobilizes students for their final year; the Provincial Federation of Labor supervises the implementation of policies, regimes and labor agreements at enterprises.
Enterprises participating in the Job Fair must publicize and make transparent salary, bonus, social insurance and welfare regimes to attract workers.
