According to Manpower Company, technology and digitalization are the industries with the highest annual salary increase.
According to Manpower Company's forecast, regarding the salary and welfare prospects of industries in Vietnam in 2026, the adjustment of salary levels for business leadership positions in 2026 shows that the recommended salary for CEO or General Manager positions in most industries will decrease by 1-5% compared to 2025 depending on the number of years of experience. Banking (in the finance - banking industry) is the only segment that recorded a 7-12% increase in the minimum recommended salary for CEO positions.
The salary for mid-level and lower positions has mostly decreased due to the recommended salary reduction for most positions in the industry. The bright spot is the manufacturing and mechanical industry when there are many positions with increased or unchanged salaries.
The average salary increase in 2026 is strongly differentiated: The industry with the highest annual salary increase is technology and digitalization (10-15%); logistics and supply chains (10-20%). The tourism and hospitality industry; construction and real estate have the most modest salary increase, 3-5% per year.
According to Manpower Company, the company focuses on investing in improving skills and developing careers for employees when benefits related to training or promotion are applied by businesses in 11/12 industries - almost all fields. Followed by health care regimes for employees and relatives (8/12 sectors).
