Labor Agreement helps 1,400 workers in Lam Dong receive care for their rights

Specifying salary benefits

On October 17, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Van - Chairwoman of Ham Liem Commune Trade Union said that Thuan Tien Garment Co., Ltd. in Phan Thiet Industrial Park currently has more than 1,400 workers.

The enterprise has been operating stably for 22 years, 100% of employees have signed contracts and participated in trade union organizations.

Average income reached 7.01 million VND/person/month in 2025, increasing to 7.3 million VND/person/month in the first 9 months of 2026.

In April 2026, the company and the grassroots trade union negotiated, adjusted, supplemented and signed a collective labor agreement, stipulating the responsibilities of both parties in ensuring jobs, income and regimes for employees.

Salaries are paid according to labor contracts, based on salary scales, salary tables and allowances. In case of work stoppage due to electricity or water incidents not caused by the enterprise's fault or due to natural disasters, fires, or dangerous epidemics, employees are still paid salaries according to the work stoppage period.

With a suspension period of 14 working days or less, the salary is calculated according to the regional minimum wage. If the suspension is more than 14 days, from the 15th day onwards, the two parties agree to take a non-salarial leave.

Welfare is concretized by expenditures

The agreement stipulates many supports for holidays and Tet. On April 30, May 1 and National Day September 2, workers are supported from 200,000-700,000 VND/person.

Female workers are supported with 100,000 VND/person on March 8th and October 20th, with each business and Trade Union contributing 50%.

During the Lunar New Year, the company gives lucky money of 100,000 VND/person; The Trade Union supports Tet gifts from 300,000-500,000 VND/person. The bonus for the 13th month's salary is considered based on annual production and business results.

Workers' children are given gifts on International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and rewarded for academic achievements. The Trade Union also supports union members in getting married, having children, and visiting when families have funerals.

Female workers returning to work after maternity leave are supported with 100,000 VND/person. The company rewards initiatives, technical improvements, organizes periodic health checks, equips labor protection and implements democracy regulations at the workplace.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Thu Van, in the past time, businesses have not had labor disputes, collective work stoppages and no fatal labor accidents.

In 2026, Thuan Tien Garment Co., Ltd. was honored by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation with the title "Exemplary Enterprise for Workers".
