Lam Dong harmonizes the interests of workers and FDI enterprises
Lam Dong - The Provincial Federation of Labor has just worked with FDI enterprises in industrial parks, emphasizing the harmony of interests between workers and companies.
On October 12, Mr. Ho Cong Duong - Permanent Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that he had come to work with the grassroots trade union in Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park to grasp the situation of trade union activities and listen to opinions from the grassroots.
The delegation visited Sheh Fung Screws Vietnam Co., Ltd. - an FDI enterprise (a company with direct investment from abroad) specializing in the production of snails. The company's grassroots union was established at the end of May 2024 and currently has 80 union members out of a total of 100 employees.
At the meeting, Ms. Tran Thi Bich Vy - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union - said that in the past, labor relations at enterprises have been stable. Enterprises and trade unions focus on taking care of welfare, fully implementing insurance regimes and bonuses for employees.
The grassroots trade union has received active support from the higher-level trade union during its activities. However, the current difficulty is recruiting more workers.
After listening to the opinions of the union and the company's leaders, Mr. Ho Cong Duong - Permanent Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the union and the enterprise need to put the common interest first.
Enterprises focus on developing production, while trade unions focus on protecting the legitimate rights of workers. When the interests of both sides are harmonious, labor relations will be stable, creating a sustainable and long-term working environment.
Mr. Duong also suggested that grassroots trade unions proactively reflect and make timely proposals if problems arise during operations to resolve them together.
Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor affirmed that it will continue to accompany and support grassroots unions in programs to care for workers' lives. This is one of the key tasks, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations among FDI enterprises in the province.
This activity also aims to strengthen the connection between the higher-level trade union and the grassroots trade union, improve the effectiveness of representation, protect the rights of workers, thereby contributing to production development, maintaining stability in industrial parks.
