More than 83,000 people in Ca Mau are reviewed and have their health insurance fees refunded
Ca Mau recognizes 40/64 communes and wards under the Safety Zone, people in this area are entitled to 100% health insurance, whoever buys will receive a refund.
According to regulations, people residing in communes and wards of the Safety Zone are supported by the State with 100% of health insurance premiums and receive 100% of medical examination and treatment costs within the scope of benefits according to the law.
On January 3, Mr. Trinh Trung Kien, Deputy Director of Ca Mau Provincial Social Insurance, said: The provincial Social Insurance will issue new health insurance cards to more than 77,600 people, transfer benefit codes to more than 48,400 people in the group of people with health insurance paid by the State and review nearly 83,450 people participating in self-paying health insurance to implement the refund of fees according to regulations.
People are also instructed to complete procedures to receive the fees paid at other health insurance groups at the public service center of communes and wards. The latest refund date is January 31.
Mr. Luong Tung Lam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Xuyen Ward, Ca Mau shared: Hearing this news, the ward residents were very happy. We are trying to do it as quickly as possible so that people can soon have a health insurance card and at the same time complete procedures to refund those who have purchased voluntary health insurance as quickly as possible.
Ms. Tran Thi Mot, Hamlet 4, An Xuyen Ward, has been able to buy quarterly insurance for many years because of limited economic conditions, now being bought by the state, she was moved: After all the medical examinations, every 3 months I have to buy more, now with full support, my husband and I feel extremely relieved.
In addition to enjoying the policy from health insurance, people living and registering to reside in communes and wards of the Security Zone are exempted from the issuance of Judicial Records, according to Point d, Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular No. 16/2025/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance.
This policy is practical, helping to reduce costs for people when implementing administrative records and procedures related to labor, employment, business, study or exit. At the same time, the timely and full implementation of incentives contributes to improving material and spiritual life, continuing to strengthen people's trust in the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.
