280 women in difficult circumstances in Hai Phong are awarded health insurance cards
Hai Phong - The city's Social Insurance has just issued health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances, bringing a warm Tet to the poor - Xuan Binh Ngo 2026.
The city's Social Insurance (SI) has coordinated with the City Women's Union to review female members in difficult circumstances and make a list of applications for health insurance cards. As a result, in the first phase, the whole city will give health insurance cards to 280 female members, with a support budget of nearly 360 million VND.
Within the framework of the program, the city Social Insurance organized the awarding of health insurance cards to women's union members in some wards in the area such as Hong An, Hong Bang, Le Chan, Gia Vien wards... At the same time, directed social insurance agencies to coordinate with women's unions at all levels, units and philanthropic enterprises to directly award health insurance cards to women's union members in difficult circumstances in the locality.
In the coming time, based on the supported and sponsored funding sources, the entire city's social insurance sector will continue to coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and associations to review, make a list of people in difficult circumstances in the area and propose giving social insurance books and health insurance cards.
It is known that according to the funding source launched by Vietnam Social Insurance, at the same time, 200 million VND was allocated to Hai Phong City Social Insurance to award social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in Hai Phong City.
However, in the face of the situation, many localities in the Central and Central Highlands regions are struggling to overcome the damage after floods. In the spirit of mutual love, Hai Phong City Social Insurance has issued a document requesting Vietnam Social Insurance to transfer all allocated funds to social insurance of provinces and cities in areas heavily affected by natural disasters, to give social insurance books and health insurance cards to people. Thereby, support resources will reach the right place more urgently, helping people in difficulty to stabilize their lives soon.
