Long Hai commune organizes a meeting with 44 religious establishments in the area

Ho Chi Minh City - Long Hai Commune organized a working group to visit, work, and give gifts to religious establishments in the area.

On July 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Long Hai commune said that the locality had organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to a number of Buddhist establishments in the area. Also participating were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee; leaders of organizations of Long Hai commune.

The delegation visited, discussed work, and presented gifts at 5 primary houses in the area including: Buu Lam Tu Pagoda; Buu Tu Phat Pagoda; Huynh Lam monastery; Ngoc Hai monastery and Ngoc Lam monastery.

During the working process, the delegation provided general information on the operation of the commune in the first days of implementing the two-level local government model. At the same time, he affirmed that local authorities always care, support, and create the best conditions for religions to operate in accordance with regulations.

Hopefully, in the coming time, the dignitaries and Buddhists will continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, actively build, preserve and expand the great national unity bloc, participate more in the patriotic emulation movement and ensure social order and safety, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic targets in the commune.
