A solid bridge to strengthen the attach between the Party, State and People

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, the Central organizations under the Party Central Committee, was established under Decision No. 245-QD/TW, dated January 24, 2025 of the Politburo. Currently, the Party Committee has 25 affiliated Party organizations, including 4 grassroots Party Committees, 13 grassroots Party Committees and 8 grassroots Party cells with more than 5,000 Party members.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions said that in the 2020 - 2025 term, the entire Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, innovation, focusing on comprehensive leadership in implementing political tasks and Party building work, the innovation of the Party organization model from the Party Delegation to the Party Committee for comprehensive leadership in implementing political tasks and Party building work has promoted the role of the political core, achieving many important results.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front has proactively coordinated with member organizations to gather, mobilize, and gather all classes of people; effectively implement programs and movements, while listening to, synthesizing opinions and recommendations, contributing to strengthening trust, acting as a solid bridge to strengthen the solidarity between the Party, State and people.

During the past term, Party committees at all levels have led the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State to synchronously and effectively implement action programs, patriotic emulation movements, and major campaigns.

The movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" continues to be widely and effectively implemented, contributing significantly to socio-economic development and improving people's lives. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has presided over and coordinated with the government, member organizations and the entire population to synchronously deploy 5 contents of the movement in conjunction with the criteria for building new rural areas, civilized urban areas and the Campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas"...

Party committees and organizations at all levels have mobilized the construction and repair of more than 180,000 Great Unity houses for poor households.

Deploying 231,110 supervisions

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc added that regarding the implementation of supervision and social criticism, during the term, the entire Vietnam Fatherland Front system has deployed 231,110 supervisions, of which: The Central level organized 31 thematic supervision teams, 7,508 provincial level, 39,794 district level, and 183,808 commune level. The monitoring content focuses on areas directly related to people's lives such as land management and use, budget, environmental protection, social security, implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, corruption prevention and negativity, cadre work, etc.

Social criticism continues to be closely led by Party committees at all levels, creating favorable conditions for the Front and member organizations to participate right from the policy-making stage. During his term, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held 16 social criticism conferences, socio-political organizations commented on 19 draft documents, and the Front at all levels organized 85,886 social criticism sessions.

During the term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have promoted their core role, actively participating in the preparation and organization of the election of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, contributing to ensuring the success of the country's important political event.

Implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Central Executive Committee in conjunction with the implementation of Conclusion No. 121-KL/TW dated April 11, 2023 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations have organized strong and comprehensive leadership and direction and implementation to achieve important results.

After the establishment of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations have conducted procedures to establish affiliated Party organizations, issued regulations on functions, tasks, and organizational structure and continued to strongly direct the reorganization of the apparatus of affiliated Party organizations and internal focal points of agencies and organizations.

As a result, 284 focal points were arranged and merged, with 159 focal points, reducing 125 focal points (equivalent to 55.98%); the total payroll was reduced from 2,720 people to 2,185 people, streamlining 535 positions (equivalent to 19.67%), including 124 positions under press agencies and mass organizations.
