The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City congratulates the Vietnam Trade Union's Founding Day

On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, on July 28, Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City - visited and presented flowers to congratulate the Da Nang City Labor Federation.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, Mr. Le Tri Thanh congratulated the collective of cadres, union members, and workers in the whole city, and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the City Trade Union in the past time.

Affirming that the Trade Union is a reliable support for workers, a core force in building a modern working class, contributing to socio-economic development, improving people's lives and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.

Mr. Le Tri Thanh suggested that the city's Trade Unions at all levels continue to pay attention to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers - especially those in difficult circumstances, workers in the non-state sector, in industrial parks.

Strengthen dialogue and collective bargaining; supervise the implementation of regimes and policies to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; promote the central role in building a strong and modern working class - to make the Trade Union organization truly a solid support and a reliable bridge between the Party, government and workers and laborers in the city.

On behalf of the City Labor Federation, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - thanked the attention of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Ms. Linh said that in the coming time, Trade Unions at all levels will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; pay more practical attention to taking care of union members and workers; at the same time, closely coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations to jointly build a civilized, peaceful and modern Da Nang city.
