The Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province responds to and supports the Cuban people

On September 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province held a ceremony to respond and support the Cuban people among cadres, civil servants and workers. Mr. Dinh Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - attended.

With the theme "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba affection", at the ceremony to respond and support the Cuban people, officers and staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province directly donated and called on cadres, civil servants, workers and people to participate. This is a practical activity in response to the campaign chaired by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, in coordination with ministries, departments, branches and central organizations, on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (1960 - 2025) and the 99th Anniversary of the birth of President Fidel Castro, spreading a strong message of sharing, sympathy and international solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.

The campaign aims to demonstrate the spirit of international solidarity and mutual assistance of the Vietnamese people in general and Dong Thap province in particular for the Cuban people - a brotherly country that has a traditional friendship and special attachment to Vietnam. In the context of Cuba facing many economic and living difficulties due to the impact of the global crisis and natural disasters, the call for support has profound political - social and humanitarian significance.
