Honoring 12 outstanding young citizens of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025

The Voting Council decided to award the title of Outstanding Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 to 12 individuals.

As one of the 12 outstanding young citizens of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, Mr. Mai Ngoc Xuan Dat - PhD, researcher of the Institute of Advanced Materials Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University feels honored to receive this title because this is a recognition of his efforts and contributions in the research process.

"This title is also an opportunity for me to look back at the role and social responsibility of young people, thereby being more aware of contributing to the community. In research projects, I always raise the issue of practical application, how can research results bring practical results to society" - Mr. Xuan Dat shared.

This title is also a motivation for Mr. Xuan Dat to be more persistent with his research orientation, continue to pursue topics with high applicable capabilities, and serve the community in a sustainable way.

Organized since 2006, up to now, 177 outstanding young citizens in many important areas of social life such as scientific research, labor - production, study, national defense - security, culture - arts, physical education - sports, start-ups, innovation, international integration and social activities have been honored.

On the same morning, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organized a program to honor outstanding young people of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, with 7 outstanding young people honored.
