Fully convey voters' petitions from deep-lying areas of An Giang to functional agencies

On March 4, candidates running for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, term 2026 - 2031, constituency No. 7, An Giang province had a meeting with voters in Van Khanh commune.

After listening to 5 candidates present the action program, voters in Van Khanh commune expressed their agreement and highly appreciated the action programs. Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Lien - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism Committee, Deputy Chairwoman of the Democracy - Law Advisory Council of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that Van Khanh is a remote commune with still many difficulties and many problems to overcome to further improve people's lives.

Ms. Lien expressed that if she is trusted to be elected as a National Assembly Deputy, she will focus and strive to fulfill her responsibilities as a elected representative to contribute to solving difficult issues related to land, agriculture, farmers, and rural areas...

In remote communes, women, children, and vulnerable groups need to be given more attention, I will propose policies, legal systems, gender equality issues... to better protect and care for children and women. I am also ready to provide legal advice and support so that we can properly and fully implement legal regulations, especially in administrative fields related to land, justice, enjoying allowances, social security, family marriage, and domestic violence prevention...", Ms. Lien shared.

In addition, specific mechanisms and policies will be proposed to solve local problems, acting as a bridge with the Government, ministries, and sectors in the process of building development investment projects; especially in the coming time when implementing the national target program on building new rural areas in the next phase.

Ms. Lien also said that it is necessary to solve common issues related to climate change, regulating saltwater and freshwater for exploitation and aquaculture, loan mechanisms, and creating sustainable livelihoods so that people do not have to abandon fields and leave far away but can still get rich honestly on their homeland.

For Van Khanh commune, the need for investment in electricity, roads, schools, stations, people's bridges, and community-serving projects is very necessary. I will try my best to participate in contributing these opinions, how to bring all the thoughts and expectations of voters to the right place, the right place, and pursue them to the end to have answers for voters," Ms. Lien expressed.
