Solemnly holding a martyrs' gratitude ceremony in Vinh Long

On the evening of July 26, at the Vinh Long Province Martyrs' Cemetery, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs to organize a candle burning ceremony to pay tribute to the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day. Attending were leaders of the Central Youth Union, Vinh Long province and many union members and young people.

At the ceremony, delegates and union members and young people offered incense, laid wreaths to commemorate, and expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union Tran Tri Cuong said that in recent times, the province's youth have promoted revolutionary traditions, actively implementing the " use of gratitude" policy through many ideal educational activities and patriotic traditions for children.

Although still modest, the works and tasks have contributed to caring for and supporting families with meritorious services, spreading the spirit of compassion and responsibility among the younger generation.

This year's candle burning ceremony was held simultaneously and solemnly at all cemeteries and martyrs' houses in the province, demonstrating the spirit of "One province - One will - One action - One victorious belief".

The Provincial Youth Union Secretary called on union members and youth to continue studying, practicing, promoting the spirit of initiative and creativity, contributing to building a developed homeland, integrating, and firmly defending the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the organizing committee presented 20 gifts to policy families. Previously, many meaningful activities such as clearing cemeteries, visiting, giving gifts, organizing gratitude meals were also implemented, contributing to educating traditions and deep gratitude in the younger generation.
