Hai Phong City is imbued with love for heroic martyrs on the occasion of July 27
Hai Phong - Wards in Hai Phong City organized many meaningful activities, expressing gratitude to people with workers to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
On the morning of July 26, the People's Committee of Hai Duong Ward held a visit to the Martyrs' Cemetery and Memorial in a solemn and emotional atmosphere. At the ceremony, the delegates respectfully offered incense and took a moment to pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs - the outstanding children who died for the revolutionary cause.
After the memorial ceremony, the ward leaders burned incense in the martyrs' graves, expressing gratitude and reminding today's generation to continue the tradition of "remembering the source when drinking water".
Previously, on the evening of July 25, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Thach Khoi Ward held an incense offering ceremony and lit candle-offs in gratitude at three martyrs' cemeteries in the area. The gratitude ceremony was attended by ward leaders, officials of departments, offices, organizations, representatives of residential groups, school boardrooms, relatives of martyrs and a large number of people.
The candles lit in the cemetery at night are a touching reminder of the heroic sacrifice of generations of ancestors, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and the spirit of gratitude to today's generation.
In addition, the People's Committee of Le Thanh Nghi Ward coordinated with the Hai Duong Medical Center to organize medical examinations, health consultations and give gifts to people with meritorious services, relatives of martyrs, the elderly under the policy and victims of Agent Orange.
Hundreds of people received general check-ups, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, specialist check-ups and received gifts worth 300,000 VND. This activity not only shows concern for public health, but also is a practical act of gratitude of the ward government and people for the great contributions of previous generations.
The above activities have contributed to spreading the tradition of " use of gratitude", strengthening the great national unity bloc and the people's trust in the Party and the State.
