On the evening of October 30, the 5th National Press Award Ceremony on Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity took place

The ceremony was organized by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in coordination with the Vietnam Journalists Association, Vietnam Television at the Vietnam - Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace and broadcast live on VTV1 channel, Vietnam Television at 8:00 p.m. on October 30.

The award ceremony is expected to be attended by leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of leaders of departments, ministries, and branches in the Central and Hanoi regions; representatives of leaders of press agencies at the central and local levels; representatives of all classes of people in Hanoi Capital, along with authors/groups of authors whose works were honored at the award ceremony.

Previously, the Preliminary Prize Council selected 91 outstanding works in 4 categories: print newspaper, electronic newspaper, television, radio to the final round.

The Final Round Council discussed, reviewed, evaluated, classified and agreed to select works worthy of being honored at the 5th National Press Awards Ceremony to fight corruption, waste and negativity, 2024-2025.

According to the Final Round Council, this year's Award has the participation of many central and local press agencies. In addition to reflecting on the topic of preventing and combating corruption and negativity, press works also focus on propaganda, reflecting the practice of thrift and combating waste in the whole society, criticizing and strongly condemning wasteful acts; propagating the results of the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity both in the State and non-State sectors.

Many works reflect the role and results of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, the press and the people in participating in the fight against corruption, waste and negativity...

Along with that, the works participating in the award continue to focus on reflecting deeply, strongly and highlighting the determination and determination of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, the participation of functional agencies, the active response and participation of all classes of people in the fight against corruption, waste and negativity, and are monitored by the people.
