Receiving nearly 4.5 billion VND in support for flood victims
HCMC - People and organizations in Vung Tau ward have contributed nearly 4.5 billion VND to support people in the Central region affected by storms and floods.
On January 10, the Vung Tau Ward Trade Union (HCMC) said that the unit had coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and mass organizations to actively call on agencies, units and organizations in the area to support people in the Central region affected by severe floods.
Thereby, the unit, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee and organizations have received enthusiastic support with salaries, food, food, drinking water, medicine, household items... supported by local people, workers, and organizations, with the spirit of giving up rice and sharing clothes in difficult and disadvantaged times.
Thereby, a total of nearly 4.5 billion VND in cash and about 142 tons of goods were collected to support people affected by floods. In addition, individuals and organizations also coordinated with the Ward Fatherland Front to provide direct support in the Central provinces of more than 460 million VND.
Each item and donation amount is a companionship, bringing faith and hope to the people of the Central region who are overcoming difficulties every day after natural disasters.
