Vietnamese-American youth preserve and foster friendship through the Red Journey

From December 1 to December 8, 2025, nearly 200 Vietnamese youth delegates will officially participate in the program "Red Journey: Research and learning of young people 2025" in China. This is the second delegation to participate in the program this year.
The delegates participating in the program are young cadres, artists, workers and outstanding rural youth. The delegation was led by Mr. Le Hai Long - Member of the Central Standing Committee of the delegation, Deputy Head of the delegation Work Committee.

The Red Journey of Research and Learning of Youth is an important youth foreign affairs activity, contributing to enhancing understanding, fostering ideals and strengthening the friendship between the youth of Vietnam and China.
This year, the Central Committee of the Youth Union of the two countries coordinated to organize two delegations to participate in the Red Journey.
The first delegation completed the journey in Beijing and Ship of the West, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Party Central Committee of the delegation - Head of the delegation.
Journey Group No. 2 continues its journey to Yunnan and Zhejiang provinces.
The theme of Journey No. 2 is "Light of ideals" - this is a reminder to each of us about the revolutionary ideals that President Ho Chi Minh, President Mao Zheng and previous generations of leaders have worked hard to nurture.
Sharing with delegates before the journey, Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Youth Union Council - emphasized that the "Red Journey for Research and Learning of Youth" was implemented with the deep attention of the senior leaders of the two Parties and two States, expressing the trust and great expectations for the young generation - those who will continue the cause of building, developing and defending the Fatherland in the new era.
This is not only an opportunity to learn but also an important step in promoting the friendship between the youth of the two countries, Vietnam and China.
During the program, the delegation will visit many places in China, including places associated with President Ho Chi Minh's mark in Kunming, historical addresses of the Communist Party of China in Jiangxi and experience modern development models in Hangzhou and H chongzhou.
These visits not only help expand knowledge about history but also provide opportunities to learn about economic, technological and administrative development models.
"Let's turn each seminar, each visit, each exchange into a lesson in cooperation and peace, so that "Ideal light" is not only a slogan but becomes a concrete action in the friendship between the two countries' youth", Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang shared.

On the first day of the program (December 1), there were a number of typical activities, such as: Special topic " should be President Ho Chi Minh in China", visiting Uncle Ho's old residence in Kunming, interacting with young people at Yunnan Coffee Factory...
In particular, the President Ho Chi Minh thematic seminar in China was the first activity of the delegation and left many emotions.
At the seminar, Prof. Ho Hien Trung - Central Youth Union of China - discussed and introduced the important revolutionary activities of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - President Ho Chi Minh in China. He has actively participated in the activities of the Communist Party of China, making important contributions to the Chinese revolutionary movement as well as the Communist International.
Also in the discussion at the seminar, Vietnamese youth delegates reviewed many milestones and important activities of President Ho Chi Minh in building a solid foundation, fostering the friendship between the people of Vietnam and China.
Thereby, learning more about President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities; his affection and diligence for the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and China.

Immediately after the seminar, the Vietnamese youth delegation visited the old Man's house in Kunming city, Yunnan province - one of the important historical relics marking the time when Man's revolutionary activities abroad before the August Revolution.
Witnessing and learning about Uncle Ho's workplace during his revolutionary activities in China, the delegates were all very touched.
In the following days, the Vietnamese youth delegation will have many meaningful activities, contributing to enhancing understanding, fostering ideals and tightening the friendship between the youth of Vietnam and China.
