A pregnant woman and a patient were saved thanks to the blood of volunteers
Cao Bang - 5 officials and people in the area donated blood to save the life of a pregnant woman and 1 pediatric patient.
In the early morning of March 30, at Cao Bang Provincial General Hospital, two critical emergency cases were transfused blood in time from volunteers of the SOS Blood Donation Club of the province, thereby saving the patient's life.
Accordingly, at about 3 am on the same day, the SOS Blood Donation Club of the province received urgent information from the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization Steering Committee about the urgent need for blood type B to rescue a pregnant woman in critical condition.
Immediately after that, two volunteers, Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Diep (teacher at Lien Oa Secondary School, Nam Tuan commune) and Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Anh (Hop Giang 5 residential group, Phuc Phan ward) were present, donating 2 units of blood. Thanks to timely blood transfusions, the pregnant woman gradually stabilized her health.
At about 10 am on the same day, the hospital continued to announce the urgent need for blood type O to rescue a child patient.

Immediately after that, Ms. Do Minh Thu (Zone 16 Customs Sub-Department), Ms. Truong Thi Yen Chi (Cao Bang Center for Disease Control) and Major Nong Tien Duoc (Deputy Team Leader, Political Work Department, Provincial Police) were present to donate blood.
Thanks to timely blood supply, the patient has passed the critical condition and his health is gradually stabilizing.
