The national launch program for youth volunteer teams participating in supporting the operation of local government at 2 levels and providing online public services at the grassroots level will take place for 2 months, from July to the end of August 2025.

On the morning of July 7 alone, more than 4,800 teams with nearly 241,400 union members and young people simultaneously launched in 3,321 communes, wards and special zones nationwide. Along with that, 728 teams of "Green Summer" volunteers from 286 universities and colleges are also present in the localities.

The Central Youth Union clearly identified the priority of resources for 286 communes, wards and special zones attached to the border. This is a residential area that needs close coordination between the Youth Union at all levels to ensure effective operation. Based on Conclusion No. 174-KL/TW of the Politburo, the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union has directed provinces and cities to review practical needs to establish a youth volunteer team to support the operation of the new model in border localities.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, youth volunteer teams quickly deployed direct support activities at public administrative centers and one-stop departments in communes, wards as well as residential areas. In Hanoi, in addition to guiding people to use online public services effectively, the teams also organize digital skills training classes for young people throughout the city.

At the launching ceremony, Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and delegates were present at the Cau Giay Ward Public Administration Service Center to monitor the work of supporting people to carry out administrative procedures; giving gifts to encourage youth volunteer teams to participate in supporting the operation of local government at 2 levels and providing online public services at the grassroots level.
