Nghe An - More than 1,200 officials and women's union members of Thanh Vinh ward participate in folk dance performances and ao dai parades on the occasion of International Women's Day 8.

On the morning of March 8, the Thanh Vinh Ward Women's Union organized a folk dance performance and parade program with the theme "Charming Ao Dai of Thanh Vinh Women in 2026", celebrating the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026) and the 1,986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.
The program is organized in an atmosphere of emulation to celebrate the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.

At the program, more than 1,200 officials and women's union members representing branches in the ward participated in folk dance performances and ao dai parades, creating a vibrant and colorful atmosphere.
The activity aims to honor the beauty of the Vietnamese ao dai - a traditional cultural symbol of the nation, and at the same time spread the spirit of health, beauty, confidence and solidarity of women in the new era.

Through the program, the Thanh Vinh Ward Women's Union also continues to arouse pride in the tradition of fighting for equal rights, for progress and happiness of women; promoting the good qualities of Vietnamese women "Heroic - Indomitable - Loyal - Capable".
Along with the emulation movements of the Association, in the past time, women in Thanh Vinh ward have actively participated in many practical activities such as supporting women in difficult circumstances, implementing the "Parental Mother" program, contributing to building an increasingly civilized and developed locality.

On this occasion, the Thanh Vinh Ward Women's Union also launched the program "Giving Ao Dai - Sending Love", giving more than 1,000 Ao Dai sets to women's union members in Tam Quang commune - a mountainous and border area with many difficulties.
