To date, 100% of localities have reviewed and determined the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; by early July 2025, the whole country has supported over 262,000 houses.

On the morning of July 9, the 4th Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) X session opened.

The conference was chaired by: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to the program, the conference will discuss and give opinions on the following contents: Draft report on the results of the Front's work in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks of the Front's work in the last 6 months of 2025; Draft orientation for the Front's work in 2026; Draft Report summarizing 10 years of implementing Project No. 01/DA-MTTW-BTT, dated May 5, 2015 on innovation of information and propaganda work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The conference will also discuss and give opinions on the draft plan to organize the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031; report on the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on the implementation of the arrangement and merger of socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State under the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to the draft report, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations have proactively followed the leadership and direction of the Party and the State's policies, focusing on implementing tasks according to the identified programs and plans and successfully completing unexpected tasks arising from practical requirements, attaching importance to substance and efficiency, with outstanding results and highlights.

Focus on perfecting the organization and personnel of affiliated party organizations and advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee; implementing resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat on continuing to streamline the organization and apparatus of the political system, and plans to organize Party congresses at all levels. In particular, the implementation of the development of the Project to reorganize and streamline the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State (central level, provincial level, and commune level).

The system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels actively contributed opinions on important draft decrees, notably commenting on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; developing a draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Youth, and the Law on Grassroots Democracy. The work of participating in building the Party and State, preventing and combating corruption and negativity continues to receive attention. Social supervision and criticism work has closely followed Directive No. 18-CT/TW dated October 26, 2022 on promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

The work of propagating the results and policies of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front has been implemented promptly, notably the strong propaganda of important events of the nation and country. The listening and grasping of opinions, thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people is carried out in a disciplined manner to reflect to the Party and the State. The work of mobilizing and gathering ethnic groups, religions, and overseas Vietnamese, from all walks of life, has achieved many results in diverse and flexible forms.

Campaigns and patriotic emulation movements continue to be implemented with many good models and creative ways of doing things. The work of caring for the poor and social security and relief has been carried out effectively and to the right subjects; along with the widespread care and support of the State, the support and assistance for the poor and vulnerable subjects implemented by the Front and member organizations has contributed to sustainability and depth, leaving no one behind.

The high focus on implementing the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide" in 2025, is expected to be completed ahead of schedule in August 2025, towards celebrating major national holidays with the active and responsible participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system.
