Mr. Phung Tan Phuong holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tra On commune for the 2025-2030 term

On October 17, the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tra On commune for the 2025-2030 term took place with the participation of 100 delegates, representing the great national unity bloc in the commune.

At the Congress, delegates unanimously assessed that over the past term, the Fatherland Front Committee of Tra On commune has successfully completed its tasks, especially in the work of mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund, building and repairing 31 Great Unity houses with a total value of more than 1.3 billion VND.

Implement social security programs, giving nearly 26,000 gifts worth more than 7.3 billion VND to the poor and disadvantaged.

Responding to the movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune has coordinated to build and repair 49 houses with a total value of over 2.1 billion VND, helping poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households have stable housing.

The Congress elected 63 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra On commune, Mr. Phung Tan Phuong was elected as Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Ban - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province - highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Tra On commune Fatherland Front in the past term.

The new Executive Committee needs to continue to strengthen the great national unity bloc, improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism; at the same time, promote emulation movements, mobilize resources to care for social security and sustainable poverty reduction, Mr. Ban emphasized.
