Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Vinh Long province, term 2025 - 2030

On November 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030, with the theme "Enhancing the core political role, joining hands to build a province for sustainable development". The Congress summarized the previous term, evaluated the results achieved and set goals and solutions for the new term.

The political report affirms the central role of the great solidarity bloc, a bridge between the Party, government and people. The Vietnam Fatherland Front effectively implemented the movements "For the Poor" and "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", contributing to political stability and achieving many important achievements.

The Congress set goals for many important contents, including: The "For the Poor" Fund collects at least 30 billion VND/year; 100% of residential areas organize the Great Unity Festival, poor households reduce 1-1.5%/year....

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Tran Van Lau - Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee - emphasized that the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to promote its core role, promote national solidarity, and raise social awareness of the importance of the Front in the new period.

It is necessary to continue to innovate the methods of operation towards the grassroots, close to the people, diversify the forms of gathering, exploit resources to the maximum, care for the poor, promptly resolve pressing problems in society.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front must improve the effectiveness of propaganda, mobilize to create consensus among the people, launch emulation in production and business, implement campaigns to build new rural areas, create solidarity movements, and praise typical advanced examples.

At the same time, expand people's foreign affairs, mobilize overseas Vietnamese to participate in investment, train capable, prestigious and exemplary Front cadres to take the lead in performing tasks, supervising Party building and governments at all levels.

Previously, on November 18, the Congress conducted personnel work and consulted to elect 107 members to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, term I, comrade Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front for the 2025 - 2030 term.
