On the afternoon of October 14, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy had a meeting with Ms. Men Sam On - Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party, Chairman of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development.

The meeting continued on the occasion of the visit and attendance at the 8th session between the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development.

Expressing her pleasure at meeting Ms. Men Sam On on the occasion of her visit and work in Vietnam, Vice President Hoang Cong Thuy conveyed warm regards and health wishes from Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - to Ms. Men Sam On and thanked her for sending condolences, visits and expressing solidarity in the face of the heavy damage caused by floods and natural disasters in some localities of Vietnam in the recent past.

Vice President Hoang Cong Thuy hopes that in the coming time, the parties will continue to effectively implement the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation Program between the three organizations of the Cambodian-Laos-Vietnam Front signed in April 2023 in the Lao People's Democratic Republic; coordinate with the Cambodian Fatherland Development Solidarity Front to successfully organize the 7th International Conference on the construction of the Vietnam-Cambodia border for peace, friendship, and mutual development cooperation in Cambodia in 2026.
