On the evening of May 24, in Hanoi, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front warmly received the high-ranking delegation of the Cambodian People's Party.
The high-ranking delegation of the Cambodian People's Party led by Ms. Men Sam An, Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party, Chairman of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development visited and attended the national funeral of former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Duc Luong.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Mr. Do Van Chien sent a sincere and profound thanks to Ms. Men Sam An, Vice Chairman of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), Chairman of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Development Front for leading the Cambodian delegation to visit and attend the national funeral ceremony for the former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Duc Luong.
Thanks to the sincere affection of the Party, the State and the people of Cambodia, Mr. Do Van Chien affirmed the presence of the Party leaders and the Cambodian State in Vietnam showing the deep and affectionate attention that Cambodia for Vietnam and the family of President Tran Duc Luong.
Mr. Do Van Chien congratulated the important achievements that Cambodia achieved over the past time under the proper leadership of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), headed by President Hun Sen; At the same time, believing with the love of the Cambodian people, CPP will continue to lead the country to achieve greater achievements in the near future.
On this occasion, Chairman Do Van Chien also congratulated Ms. Men Sam An on being appointed by King Norodom Sihamoni as a 5-star Governor General, the highest rank in the Royal Armed Forces of Cambodia.
