A place to sow green seeds of hope for people with disabilities

Starting from a meeting with passion for nature, wanting to contribute to the community, two young men Nguyen Quoc Truong and Ngoc Thanh Phuc have built a green handicraft gift brand named Lilforest. Going beyond the meaning of a simple gift brand, here, vulnerable people including deaf people and people with physical disabilities are trained in a profession, thereby igniting hope to change lives for unfortunate lives.

Ms. Mai Huong (Hanoi) is a deaf person, who has been attached to Lilforest for more than 6 months. In the early days of working, the young girl was always shy and rarely expressed emotions due to sign language barriers, creating an invisible distance from everyone around. But in just a short time, thanks to everyone's listening and respect, Ms. Huong gradually found her own self-confidence.

Ms. Huong shared that the work of producing meticulous handicrafts helps her learn more new skills, recognize her self-worth and have opportunities to develop in the future, gradually making her feel happy and grateful because life is gradually getting better.

At the age of 41, Ms. Ngo Thi Hai (Hanoi) was also lucky to find a piece suitable for her life when she became attached to this job. Here, she was listened to with eyes and smiles, and her abilities were affirmed through each meticulous product.

Because she is not affected by the surrounding sounds, Ms. Hai can be absolutely focused on her work. Her meticulousness and carefulness help products always achieve high and stable quality. With a stable monthly income, she is not only economically self-reliant but also a role model to inspire many other people with disabilities.

Sharing about this humane journey, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Truong - representative of the brand founding group - said that giving opportunities to people with disabilities stems from the strong belief of the team. Right from his student days, he has supported and worked with disadvantaged people with physical disabilities. With the belief that when you have one flaw, it will be compensated by another, Mr. Truong and the team have created conditions for special personnel to maximize meticulousness and dexterity in each artwork.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Truong and his colleagues also continue to set bigger goals in 2026. "We hope to continue to recruit and train more people with disabilities. In particular, build a production management system to deploy home processing models, helping people with disabilities easily access work and have more hope of changing their lives" - Mr. Truong shared.

A stable job is the key for people with disabilities to break the barrier of inferiority complex, confidently integrate and contribute to society. The working environment without distance, like the way young men Nguyen Quoc Truong and Ngoc Thanh Phuc are doing, has spread a strong message about love, so that no one is left behind on the journey of making a living.
