On March 29, Vinh Dinh Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that the unit had just coordinated to return property to people who dropped it, after a couple in the area picked up money and proactively reported it.

Previously, Mr. Le Thanh and Ms. Hoang Thi Men (both born in 1972, residing in team 8, Vinh An hamlet, Lam Thuy village) while moving picked up a yellow nylon bag. Inside the bag was 5,383,000 VND, including many different denominations.

Immediately after discovering it, the couple quickly brought all the money to report to Vinh Dinh Commune Police to find the person who dropped it.

Through verification, the police force determined that the above amount belonged to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay (born in 1953, residing in Dong Ha ward).

During a trip back to her hometown in Vinh Dinh commune to worship the altar, Mrs. Bay dropped a nylon bag containing a wallet and more than 5.3 million VND. For Mrs. Bay, this is a large amount of money, while worried about accidentally dropping money, she received information from Vinh Dinh Commune Police that someone had picked it up and returned it, making her happy and touched.

After completing the necessary procedures, the Commune Police proceeded to return the property to Mrs. Bay.
