People returning to their hometowns for Tet, the police support refueling, giving helmets, and drinking water

Accompanying people on their journey home to celebrate Tet, Vinh Binh Commune Police have coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police and Hon da Nam Binh Vinh Thuan to implement the "Gratitude Stop" program to donate helmets and free drinking water on National Highway 63.

According to Vinh Binh Commune Police (An Giang), the "Gratitude Stopover" program is implemented with the desire to accompany people on their journey home, especially those working far from home, to have the opportunity to reunite with their families to celebrate Spring and welcome Tet.

At the "Gratitude Stop" station, the Police force and volunteers donated 50 helmets, distributed 360 bottles of mineral water, 50 cold towels to people in need, and at the same time supported directions and propaganda, reminding people to strictly comply with road traffic laws.

Many people stopping at the Station expressed their emotion at this timely attention. Bottles of cool water in the midday sun, new helmets handed over not only help ensure safety but also add motivation for them to steer firmly on the road.

Close coordination between the Police force and local businesses in the "Gratitude Stopover" Program not only carries the meaning of simple material support but also spreads the message of sharing, responsibility and spirit of mutual affection in the community. Thereby, contributing to making each journey home for Tet of people safer, complete and warmer with affection.

Also on February 14, the Youth Union of An Giang Provincial Police Inspectorate coordinated with the Provincial Police Women's Committee, union members of Vam Nao Waterway Police Station (under the grassroots Youth Union of the Traffic Police Department), the Youth Union of My Thoi Ward Police and the Binh Duc Ward Youth Union to organize "Points to support people returning to their hometowns for Tet" on National Highway 91, section belonging to My Thoi ward, An Giang province.

Through this, 2,000 bottles of mineral water and 2,000 free cold towels were distributed to people. At the same time, supporting vehicle inspection, tire pumping and patching and pouring 200 liters of free gasoline for vehicles when people pass through support points.

Youth Union members of Vam Nao Waterway Police Station coordinated with forces to visit and give 10 Tet gifts, each gift worth 500,000 VND to people in difficult circumstances in My Thoi ward. Through these meaningful and practical activities, to promptly support and help people in difficult circumstances who go to work far away on their way back to their hometown to celebrate Tet.
