Bustling election day in Gia Lai border region

On March 13, communes in Gia Lai province are urgently and excitedly preparing for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.

In the border communes of the province, the atmosphere towards the great festival of the whole people takes place bustlingly and excitedly. Red flags with yellow stars, banners, slogans are hung along the roads; villages are embellished brightly - greenly - cleanly - beautifully.

In border communes such as Ia Mo, Ia Puch, Ia Dom, Ia Nan... the preparation for the election day has basically been completed. Security and order in the polling areas are ensured.

The Commune Police and Civil Defense forces coordinated with the Border Guard to strengthen patrols and control of trails and open paths to ensure that the election day takes place safely and in accordance with regulations.

Along with that, youth union members and students in the area in volunteer blue shirts have actively participated in propaganda and mobilization of people to exercise their rights and obligations to vote.

The grassroots broadcasting system maintains broadcasting propaganda bulletins 2 times a day, each bulletin about 15 minutes, providing necessary information related to the election.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Chairman of Ia Mo Commune People's Committee said: "Professional training classes for the election committee and election team are organized methodically, focusing on the voting process, ballot counting and contents according to the provisions of law.

Thereby helping officials perform their duties with a spirit of responsibility and high proactiveness. Along with organizational work, propaganda about elections is also implemented in many rich forms, contributing to spreading the festive atmosphere among all classes of people”.

In addition, border communes also promote communication on electronic information portals and local social networking platforms, attracting the attention and monitoring of people.

Visual propaganda activities are also strengthened with a system of posters and banners hung in villages and along main roads.

The spirit towards the big festival is clearly spreading in each residential area and village. Voters proactively learn about the list of candidates and related information, entrusting their trust in delegates who are virtuous and talented, truly representing the will and aspirations of the people, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the locality in the new period.

Mr. Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Council affirmed that the process of preparing and implementing the election was carried out seriously, proactively and synchronously by the entire political system in the province. Personnel work was carried out closely, ensuring the correct composition, quantity and structure according to procedures and regulations.

Information and propaganda work is deployed diversely, combining press, radio, television, digital platforms and direct propaganda at the grassroots level. Thereby contributing to widely spreading the vibrant atmosphere of the election to all classes of people in the province," Mr. Chung said.
