The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Thap province launched a high-profile emulation movement towards the Provincial Party Congress

On September 8, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Dong Thap province, chaired by Mr. Dinh Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province - launched a high-profile emulation campaign to welcome the Provincial Party Congress.

Attending were Mr. Tran Van Dung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Thanh Nguyen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

With the theme "30 days towards the Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress", the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap Province recommends that each commune, ward, locality, agency, unit, member organization of the Front Committee, each residential area strive to have at least one project and practical work to celebrate the Congress, associated with the interests of the people.

As of August 25, 2025, the whole province has 106/106 Party Committees successfully organizing congresses, reaching a rate of 100%. For 102/102 communes and wards, they have selected and registered at least one specific project or task to celebrate the Congress. The projects focus on essential areas, directly serving people's lives.

Right at the launching ceremony, units, businesses, philanthropists and philanthropists participated in contributing to supporting social security in the province, including 510 water purifiers, with a total value of over 4.5 billion VND and clean water tanks for people affected by drought and salinity.
