The Fatherland Front of Tan Phu Trung commune mobilizes over 2.3 billion VND for social security

In 2025, the work of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Tan Phu Trung commune, Vinh Long province will continue to be implemented synchronously, closely following local political tasks, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

During the year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune proactively advised the Party Committee to lead and direct the effective implementation of key tasks, notably completing the organization of the 2025-2030 term Congress on schedule and in accordance with regulations.

Along with that, the Front Working Committee system continues to be strengthened, the whole commune maintains its activities in 24 hamlets with 246 members, promoting its core role in propaganda and mobilization of the people.

Emulation movements and major campaigns have been widely deployed, focusing on the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", with many effective models maintained stably.

With the consensus and active response of the people, in 2025, the Commune Party Committee has led the implementation of achieving and exceeding 33/33 socio-economic development targets, in the context of arranging and merging local governments at two levels.

Social security work has received regular attention, the whole commune has built 10 Great Unity houses, thereby eliminating 11/24 hamlets with no more poor or near-poor households living in temporary houses.

In addition, the locality has presented nearly 15,000 gifts to poor households, near-poor households, disadvantaged families and studious students, with a total cost of over 2.3 billion VND, contributing to stabilizing people's lives.

Socialization mobilization work has achieved many positive results, including mobilizing 347 million VND to support people in the Central region affected by storms and floods, in response to the Peak Month "For the Poor" with 58 million VND.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tan Phu Trung Commune Party Committee - said that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the commune will focus on innovating the content and methods of operation in a practical direction, close to the people, improving the quality of social supervision and criticism according to Decisions 217 and 218 of the Politburo in the commune.

The results of activities in 2025 recognize the positive contributions of many outstanding collectives and individuals, creating an important foundation for the work of the Tan Phu Trung Commune Front and mass organizations to continue to improve efficiency in 2026.
