Khanh Hoa honors 38 typical advanced collectives and individuals in the 2020-2025 period
Khanh Hoa - On September 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the province held the first conference of advanced typical examples of the VFF and socio-political organizations of Khanh Hoa province.
According to Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, in the period of 2020-2025, the Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province have effectively organized and implemented patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns.
Many typical movements and campaigns have been promoted and brought about clear results such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "day for the poor", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Khanh Hoa joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"...
The movement to build cultural life is maintained annually, over 97% of households and 100% of residential areas register to achieve cultural titles.
From 2020 to present, the "For the Poor" Fund in the whole province has mobilized more than 90.8 billion VND, supported the construction and repair of 2,204 Great Solidarity houses worth more than 136 billion VND; supported more than 49,000 poor and near-poor households with a total cost of over 40 billion VND.
In particular, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 has rebuilt and repaired 3,539 houses in the province with a total cost of more than 194 billion VND, reaching the finish line 3 months ahead of schedule, contributing to affirming the determination and consensus of organizations and people.
Recognizing the great contributions from the emulation movements of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province in recent times, Mr. Le Huyen - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that the 5-year journey full of effort and creativity in implementing patriotic emulation movements is also to respect and honor outstanding collectives and individuals.
With the aspiration to rise up, in the coming time, local leaders also suggested that the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Khanh Hoa province continue to innovate the content and form of emulation in a specific and practical direction, strongly oriented towards the grassroots; link emulation with the implementation of the task of building Khanh Hoa province to develop sustainably, promote traditional cultural values, the people have a high standard of living, peace, affection and happiness.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 8 individuals; the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 10 groups and 16 individuals with outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2020 - 2025.
