Opening of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central Organizations

On September 23, the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2025-2030 term, taking place over two days from September 22 to 23 at the Vietnam Youth Academy, was the first congress organized by 6 Party Committees under the Central Committee.

The draft political report of the Congress has the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee; strongly innovating thinking and leadership methods; gathering and mobilizing all classes of people to promote democracy and the strength of great national unity, united, and joined hands to enter an era of developing a rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy country". The congress's motto of action is: Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development.

Previously, on September 22, at the first working session of the Congress, the Congress Presidium, the Congress Secretariat and the Delegation of Representative status Examination Board were elected. Also on the first working day, the Congress had a discussion session in the Hall.

In the afternoon, the Congress was divided into 5 discussion groups, in which the groups will discuss focusing on 5 important contents including: Political report submitted to the Congress; Report on reviewing the leadership and direction of the Congress Executive Committee; Draft Resolution of the Congress; Action Program to implement the Congress Resolution; giving comments on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
