More than 300 delegates attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Ngai province

On November 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province held a press conference to inform about the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, term 2025-2030. Mr. Ho Ngoc Thinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the press conference.

At the press conference, Mr. Ho Ngoc Thinh said that the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, term 2025-2030, will have 303 official delegates attending.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I, consists of 120 members, of which the congress will elect 111 people (a shortfall of 9 members). The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2025-2030 term has 9 members, accounting for 7.5%, including Chairman, 1 Standing Vice Chairman and 7 Vice Chairmen. In which, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; the head of socio-political organizations is the one with the structure combined.

It is expected that the congress will unanimously elect 16 official delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term, along with 4 absent delegates.

Mr. Ho Ngoc Thinh emphasized that with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the goal for the new term of 2025-2030 is to continue to consolidate and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; promote democracy; strongly innovate the organization, content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. Strengthen social consensus, protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people.
