Luc Si Thanh Commune Women's Union presents 100 gifts to people in difficult circumstances

Vinh Long - The Women's Union of Luc Si Thanh commune presented 100 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.

On August 3, the Women's Union of the commune organized a program to give 100 gifts to the poor and households in difficult circumstances in the area.

The program was supported by monk Thich Khong Khong to strongly mobilize donors, each gift worth 300,000 VND, including rice, instant noodles and essential necessities for daily life.

Teacher Thich Khong Khong said that she wanted to contribute a small part to share love, help people overcome difficulties, so that no one was left behind.

"This is the enthusiasm and companionship of Buddhists and philanthropists at home and abroad for the disadvantaged people in the locality," Su Thich Khong Khong added.
