Donate blood at the beginning of spring to multiply happiness in Lam Dong

On January 22, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh - Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society said that the unit had just organized a campaign for people to participate in voluntary blood donation in early spring to promptly supplement blood sources for emergency care and treatment, especially during the Lunar New Year - the time when blood demand increases.

The program was held in Duc Trong commune with the theme "Donate blood at the beginning of spring - multiply happiness", attracting more than 400 cadres, union members, association members and people to participate. The Organizing Committee received 326 units of blood and transferred them to hospitals and medical facilities in the province to serve treatment.

According to Mr. Minh, the voluntary blood donation campaign every Lunar New Year has become an annual activity in Lam Dong, with practical significance and a noble gesture, demonstrating the tradition of humanity of the nation.

Participating in the blood donation program, Mr. Tran Viet Anh - Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union said that he started donating blood during his college years and has now donated blood voluntarily more than 20 times.

Every blood donation brings a meaningful feeling, contributing to helping patients and spreading the spirit of Love others as you love yourself, for the health of the community, Mr. Viet Anh shared.

Sharing the same spirit, Ms. Van Thi Le Hoa - a teacher at Tran Phu Secondary School (Duc Trong Commune) said that every year she donates blood 2-3 times and actively encourages relatives, friends, and colleagues to participate.

This is the 40th time I have donated blood voluntarily. I will continue to share the drops of blood with the sick, because each drop of blood given is a life left behind," Ms. Hoa expressed.
