Nearly 350 delegates will attend the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Vice Chairwoman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) - chaired the press conference; also attended by representatives of the Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Journalists Association and central and local press agencies.

At the press conference, a representative of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province, term 2025-2030, will take place for 2 days (November 28-29, 2025) at the 25B Conference Center.

The total number of delegates attending the Congress is 675 delegates, including 348 official delegates and 327 invited delegates.

The 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province was held under the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Development", continuing to promote the core political role, building the great national unity bloc, implementing democracy, enhancing social consensus for the goal of building Thanh Hoa province rich, civilized and happy.

Informing at the press conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province - said that preparations for the Congress have been basically completed, ready for the important political event of the great national unity bloc in the province.

At the press conference, the representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also informed about the structure, personnel composition, members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; expected number of re-elected members and members introducing new trade unions.

The Congress aims to continue to consolidate and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; promote democracy, enhance social consensus; innovate content and methods of operation; effectively operate the organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels according to the new model; contribute to building a clean and strong Party and political system, making Thanh Hoa province develop quickly and sustainably. From there, the Congress set out 11 specific targets and 6 key action programs during the term.
