Nearly 160 gifts to disadvantaged students and families in Phu Loi ward, Can Tho
Can Tho - Nearly 160 gifts, scholarships and cash were given to students, veterans and disadvantaged families in Phu Loi ward.
On July 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Phu Loi ward, Can Tho city coordinated with socio-political organizations and Peam Buol Thmay pagoda to organize the program "Studying children to school" for the 2025-2026 school year, while implementing social security activities and supporting people in difficult circumstances.

The program was organized to celebrate the 1st Phu Loi Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, while demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and community responsibility in caring for poor students and disadvantaged families in the area.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 110 gifts to students overcoming difficulties, each worth 300,000 VND; 5 scholarships for students with good academic achievements, each worth 300,000 VND in cash.
10 cash gifts (each worth VND500,000) were sent to members of the Vietnam Veterans Association in difficult circumstances; 34 households in difficult circumstances also received gifts worth VND300,000/gift.
All gifts are mobilized from businesses and philanthropists, demonstrating the solidarity between the government, the Front, socio-political organizations and the community in caring for social security, especially at the beginning of the new school year.
